16" CLEANING WIDTH & 24" SQUEEGEE WIDTH: The KARHDIR C5 Walk Behind Floor Scrubber combines a 16-inch cleaning path with a 24-inch rear squeegee. Its compact working width is suitable for commercial floors, aisles and areas with fixed obstacles, while the wider squeegee helps collect dirty solution behind the scrub deck.

UP TO 24,000 SQ. FT. PER HOUR: With theoretical cleaning productivity of up to 24,000 square feet per hour, the C5 helps reduce the time and labor required for routine hard-floor maintenance. Actual productivity may vary depending on floor conditions, obstacles, operating speed and required overlap.

18" DISC BRUSH WITH 33.1 LB PRESSURE: The single 18-inch disc brush operates at 160 RPM and applies 33.1 pounds of brush pressure to loosen dirt, marks and residue from compatible hard surfaces. The disc-style scrub head can be used with a suitable brush or pad driver according to the floor and cleaning task.

LARGE SEPARATE DUAL TANKS: A 10-gallon solution tank holds clean water or an approved cleaning solution, while the 11-gallon recovery tank stores collected wastewater. The separate tank design prevents clean solution from mixing with recovered dirty water and helps reduce interruptions for refilling and draining.

24V BATTERY-POWERED OPERATION: The included 24V 52Ah lead-acid battery provides approximately 2 to 3 hours of runtime, with a charging time of approximately 4 to 5 hours. The battery-powered design provides cordless movement across commercial cleaning areas.

DEDICATED BRUSH & SUCTION MOTORS: The C5 uses a 24V/360W brush motor to power the scrub deck and a separate 24V/500W suction motor for wastewater recovery. Independent controls allow the operator to activate the brush and suction functions as needed.

VERSATILE HARD FLOOR CLEANING: The C5 is designed for flat, water-resistant hard surfaces such as concrete, tile, marble, epoxy, PVC, terrazzo and other compatible commercial flooring. Cleaning and water recovery may be less effective on deeply grooved, cracked or uneven surfaces.

Features & Applications

One-Pass Scrubbing & Water Recovery

Clean water or an approved low-foaming cleaning solution is delivered from the solution tank to the floor. The rotating disc brush agitates the surface to loosen dirt and residue, while the rear squeegee gathers the dirty solution. The suction system then transfers the wastewater into the separate recovery tank.

This integrated process allows the machine to scrub and recover water in a single pass, helping reduce repeated cleaning and allowing the floor to dry faster than with conventional mopping.

For effective water recovery, the squeegee should maintain even contact with the floor. Deep grooves, cracked tiles and uneven surfaces may retain water and require an additional suction pass or manual drying.

Adjustable Solution Flow

The stepless water-flow adjustment allows the operator to control the amount of solution delivered according to the floor condition and cleaning task.

Use only as much solution as necessary to clean effectively. Reducing unnecessary water flow helps conserve clean solution, limits excess moisture on the floor and extends the working time available from each tank fill.

Choose the Right Brush or Floor Pad

Different floors and cleaning tasks may require different floor-contact materials.

• Use a compatible disc brush for general cleaning and suitable textured hard floors.

• Use a compatible pad driver and floor pad for polishing, maintenance cleaning, deep scrubbing or floor stripping.

• Select the floor pad grade according to the floor finish and required cleaning intensity.

• Confirm that the brush, pad and detergent are suitable for the surface before operation.

• Test the cleaning setup on a small, inconspicuous area before cleaning sensitive flooring.

Pre-sweep stones, paper, dust and other loose debris before wet scrubbing. Larger debris can become tangled around the brush or block the squeegee and suction system.

Simple Walk-Behind Operation

The height-adjustable handle can be set to a comfortable operating position. Forward, stop and reverse functions are controlled through the operating controls, giving the operator direct control of the machine’s movement and cleaning path.

The walk-behind configuration is suitable for commercial floor areas, aisles and spaces with fixed equipment. Rolling-bearing wheels and a compact turning radius help the operator navigate corners and routine cleaning routes.

The battery-level indicator displays the remaining charge so operators can plan cleaning tasks and recharge the machine when necessary.

Easy Maintenance Access

The recovery tank can be tilted to provide access to the battery compartment. The suction motor is mounted beneath the recovery-tank cover, allowing service personnel to reach the relevant components by opening the cover.

The squeegee assembly can be removed without specialized tools. When one edge of the squeegee blade becomes worn, the blade can be flipped to use the remaining edge. Replace the blade when both usable edges are worn or damaged.

Maintenance and electrical repairs should only be performed by qualified personnel. Turn off the machine and disconnect the power source before inspection or service.

Care & Maintenance

• Empty and rinse the recovery tank after each use.

• Do not leave wastewater inside the recovery tank during storage.

• Clean the squeegee blades and remove debris from the suction inlet.

• Inspect the suction hose and connections for blockage.

• Remove hair, fibers and debris wrapped around the brush or pad driver.

• Raise the brush and squeegee before storing the machine.

• Wipe the machine with a damp cloth and dry it afterward.

• Never spray water directly onto electrical components or the suction-motor air intake.

• Charge the battery only with the specified charger in a dry, well-ventilated area.

• Store the machine on a flat, dry surface away from flammable materials.

Important Use Notes

• Use the machine only on flat, compatible, water-resistant hard floors.

• Do not operate the machine on slopes, rough terrain or in flammable or explosive environments.

• Pre-sweep loose debris before wet scrubbing.

• Use only neutral, low-foaming detergent suitable for automatic floor scrubbers.

• Do not use highly corrosive, flammable or excessively foaming chemicals.

• Monitor the recovery-tank level and drain it before it becomes overfilled.

• Place appropriate warning signs around wet or detergent-treated floors.

• Keep hands, feet and loose clothing away from the rotating brush.

• Wear closed-toe footwear during operation.

• Follow all operating, charging, maintenance and safety instructions in the user manual.
